Hello,
My classmates and I are working on a culminating design project involving wireless communication with a remote embedded device. The embedded device is an ARM board running Linux and will communicate with a Windows PC. We were looking at running Mono on the Linux board and either Mono or .Net on the PC. We have a few questions before we commit to this method. 1. Would serialization and de-serialization of our custom classes work properly between the two platforms (ARM and x86)? We were thinking of using this method for communicating between the two devices. 2. How stable and complete is the ARM port of mono? 3. Are there any issues we should be aware of for this usage scenario? Thank you! -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Cross-platform-interoperability-tp20369535p20369535.html Sent from the Mono - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
