Can you not have a dead switch (something akin to how the configure script works) that runs mono -V and if it returns something then the installer quits saying there is a version already installed (possibly running which mono will show the user where it is). Okay, it doesn't catch if there are multiple copies in there, but it does go some way to re-instating the installer. TTFN Paul -- Sie können mich aufreizen und wirklich heiß machen!
