I saw Miguel's presentation and really was impressed. I don't think I could do his slides justice but I will try to hit some of the same points. Also, I don't have an iPhone (or iPod touch). As far as the Simd stuff, I think I can steal the speed comparison slide off his blog. I have seen many of his presentations. I saw his stuff in France and many others. This talk will force me to try and play with Moonlight. I am very excited. So far, I have been a boring Gtk on Linux only guy. I will have to broaden my scope. Hopefully 5 days is enough time to prepare.
Monodevelop will need to be part of the Demo. I figure I should show some ASP.NET though I never worked with it myself. Are there sites that I can show and claim are running on Linux with Mono? I would like to show a few Gtk apps. Some streaming music would be slick. If I could get some Moonlets going that would be great. Maybe some OpenOffice and Gimp addons. A few Silverlight pages that render well. As far as the games and Unity, it will have to be light on show and heavy on tell. I know this is great eye candy. Oh well. Thanks for your ideas and help. I will try and post whatever I come up with. Here is the link to user group site for those that are interested. I would recommend you to contact Miguel directly and ask if he would like to share some presentation material with you.
