In general I am trying to stay away from using mkbundle. It adds a lot of complexity to the auto-updater part of my project. I am more looking for a solution that would force the linux distros to go out and get the mono framework.
I would be okay with bundling a framework right in with the installer and having it install if it wasn't already on there computers. The problem with this is that the framework is 90MB large, and most people don't want to download a program that big. Is there any way to compile just a part of the framework and install that, so that if users don't have the full framework I can give them a smaller one?
