About one year ago, I got the webbrowser working for both linux and windows, using gecko-sharp. There are tutorials about it on the web.
I´m not sure about the gluezilla that you mentioned, maybe it is the same thing? I thik things in fact have gotten better, in latest mono versions. Well, I´m just writing to say that it is indeed possible to have a multi-platform project using mono and a webbrowser control, you should give it a try. regards!
