I was hoping someone might be able to help me solve this problem. I have no troubles running the DBTest app when I have mono 1.9.1 installed. However, when I upgrade to 2.2 or even 2.4 the app is no longer able to connect and execute. At first I received an error that looked like a total garbage japanese character string but when I replaced the System.Data.dll with the 1.9.1 version the error message coming out is connection timeout.
I have a C program that runs fine and can connect to the datasource so I know it isn't a connection issue. There is just some difference after 1.9.1. Is there any UNICODE changes that might start causing this?
