I'm trying to install mono to ARM device running Debian 'Sarge' for the last 14 days. No matter what I try, it seems I'm running in circles. I tried all the instructions I saw on the boards and searched the internet, all to no avail. Although it must be said, I'm quite a newbie when it comes to linux. So I'd like to ask someone more knowing to help me.
SBC in question is ARM based board with Debian 'Sarge' distribution installed. Part of the problem could be, that Sarge utilizes older 2.4 kernel. I can't seem to find .deb packages for Sarge/ARM anywhere on .net. AFAICS, precompiled binaries for Nokia 770 'should' also work, but I can't find them anywhere either. Instructions on compiling via Scratchbox also seem somewhat outdated. I would be very grateful if someone can show me how to get mono working?
