By following this ( http://monodevelop.com/Developers/Articles/Building_MonoDevelop_on_Ubuntu) there were no problems until compilation of Monodevelop 2.2 where the exact same error occur - Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentException: method declaring type is not a generic type definition
