Hi all: I use mono-service to run my service application, it works fine and a new process named "mono" can be seen in the process list. But when i use mono-service2, it doesn't work, and doesn't output any log messages in '/var/log/messages', even i used a simpleest test service application, it can't work too. When i use --debug or --no-daemon it works correctly. I am really confused.
I wonder if it concerned with the installed mono packages. My OS is CentOS 5.4, and i installed the following packages ( http://software.opensuse.org/search ) with --nodeps: mono-core-2.4-4.2.i386.rpm mono-data-2.4-4.2.i386.rpm mono-extras-2.4-4.2.i386.rpm Is there something wrong with the packages i installed or where is my problem?
