Hi! When I said "Mono core" I meant to the main mono packages, not a package named "mono-core" :-) Sorry.
You package is libmono-corlib2.0-cil. I don't remember all packages, but you should install: monodevelop mono-gac monodevelop-database monodevelop-debugger-mdb mono-git mono-runtime mono-gmcs mono-devel mono-apache-server2 mono-xsp2 You can take a look to http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=mono&searchon=names&suite=karmic§ion=alland you will get all packages, required and optionals, for mono development, and his dependencies.
