I'm far from been a C# guru. Revealing out my newbiness, I come here for advice. After a couple of weeks playing with Monovelop 2.0 on Ubuntu 9.10 64 I bougth a notebook which comes with Vista Home Basic by default. So I decided to test the last mono and MD releases downloading all the core archives and installing in it following the sugested sequence:
http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/2.6.3/windows-installer/4/mono-2.6.3-gtksharp-2.12.10-win32-4.exe http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/gtk-sharp/gtk-sharp-2.12.9-2.win32.msi http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en (a link to the full package will be apreciated...) http://monodevelop.com/files/Windows/releases/MonoDevelop-2.2.2.msi Then i tried to devel a simple sqlite CRUD GTK# application, but when I type "using Mono." MD cannot suggest any assembly. I edit references just to discover (with great surprise) that mono does not include its own assemblies in a default fresh ms windows instalation!!!! This is an expected behavior? Or I'm missing some little and crucial step?
