Oh what a terrible mistake. But there is another problem now: When i call the Open - method for the connection object i got the following exception: Unhandled Exception: Mono.Data.Sqlite.SqliteException: Unable to open the database file unable to open database file at Mono.Data.Sqlite.Sqlite3.Open (System.String strFilename) [0x00000] at Mono.Data.Sqlite.SqliteConnection.Open () [0x00000] I doesn't matter whether the file exists or not but i should work in any case.
