Hi all. There's a big question mark on my forehead right now. I was building a project on MonoDevelop(Linux) the other day, that I had developed and successfully built and run on Windows before. This was to test, if my project could be built on linux at all. That worked out quit nice and I ran the thing no problem... However when I try to run that same file I compiled on linux on a Windows client, I get an error message saying I don't have the appropriate Framework installed, or something like that.
Now am I doing something totally wrong here? Can I only run things on both Frameworks - Mono and .Net - if I Compile on a Windows machine? Wasn't the whole idea behind .Net/Mono that it could be ported and run on different setups? -- View this message in context: http://mono.1490590.n4.nabble.com/compiled-on-linux-only-runs-on-mono-tp3089863p3089863.html Sent from the Mono - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
