Alex, thanks for the reply. Yes, I am looking for an "officially supported" route. I have a fairly large project that I need to transition from MS Visual Studio in order to ensure that it is cross platform. My actual target Linux distributions are Ubuntu and Oracle Linux 6 (basically a rebranded RHEL6). I also need to support Windows. The majority of existing GUI is written in Visual Studio utilizing the .net framework. We also have Java (non-gui components) and several cross platform non-gui, cross-platform based API's written/to be written in C++/GCC. We naturally thought we could get to reuse a majority of our .net framework codebase by adopting the MONO framework for our Linux GUI requirements. We also purchased MON-Tools to assist in the migration, although we are still trying to sort that out as well.
