I would just love it if the new mono build guru, Alex Corrado, made it just
a little easier for Debian and Ubuntu folks to use recent versions of mono
and monodevelop.

Patrick McEvoy did a nice job on
https://github.com/firegrass/mono-installer-
script (though there are problems;) perhaps Alex will benefit from Patrick's
hard work.
