I do not agree with you. Microsoft, as well as developers around the world, are contributing to C#/.NET to make better programming language to accelerate our development. Newer versions of C#/.NET have more advanced features and it evolutes gradually. If we stop following C#'s step, we are seperating our C# from Microsoft's and on the contrary we are making mono platform dependent (not compatible with C# on Windows). That's not what we want.
