I know SGEN is not available on all systems. We'd like to look again at using it by default when compiling and running the F# compiler.
Is there a "right" way to probe to see if SGEN is supported? Do we just look for mono-sgen in the path? If SGEN is not supported, will mono-sgen still exist? thanks ben
