Hi folks, Just yesterday I answered a question to someone asking about the EF, telling him that it wasn't unavailable and to talk to the SQL in the ADO.net 2.0 fashion.
My answer is just today deprecated. Mono 3.0 is fresh out and include the open sourcered EF. http://tirania.org/blog/archive/2012/Oct-22.html Now it's time to try it. In may case I'll wait for the release in the Badgerports.
