Using PuTTy on Telnet on ports 80, 943 and 4530 keep the connection alive.
Any other ports closes PuTTy immediately.

Not sure how to show all the firewall information. I tried:

iptables -L -n

And got:

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination
