This is probably a sill problem but I cannot seem to fix it, I am following the Mono-Basic tutorial and trying to use the console to say "hello world". I'm using windows and have created a file called hello.cs with all the required code. But when I open up the console and type gmcs hello.cs I get the following error.
"error CS2001: Source file 'hello.cs' could not be found Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings" I have currently saved the file to my desktop, is there somewhere else I should save it? or am I doing something wrong? Like I said this is probably a silly problem, but I am very new to this and would really appreciate some help. Thank you. -- View this message in context: http://mono.1490590.n4.nabble.com/Console-won-t-locate-Hello-cs-tp4659563.html Sent from the Mono - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
