I am not too experience in Ubuntu and I am rather being put off by the age-old-Unix-style of get-source-and-build. Hence I have not install Mono 3.0. It was already a struggle to get MonoDevelop 3.x on to my Ubuntu 12.04. May be I have to look for a PPA to install Mono 3.0. Only wish getting Mono into Ubuntu is as simple as getting CLR into Windows. By the way, does Ubuntu support side-by-side installation of different version of Mono runtime? If you have Mono 3.0, can do the test for the benefit of the community?
