OK, I'm confused now. In wikipedia "Installing Lucene search" page it's written that: "This tutorial is about an obsolete version of MediaWiki lucene-based search engine. Please refer to mw:Extension:lucene-search for up-to-date information." https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Installing_lucene_search
In the new tutorial the C# daemon is referred as "old daemon". The new daemon LSearch uses Java. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Lucene-search "Note to Windows users: From version 2.0 onward, the LSearch daemon doesn't support the Windows platform (since it uses hard and soft file links). You can still use the old daemon written in C#." On the other hand in https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Installing_lucene_search you can find this text: "It appears that the C# engine is what is used to search the english wikipedia" So does en.wikipedia.org use Mono or not? -- View this message in context: http://mono.1490590.n4.nabble.com/Mono-on-wikipedia-tp4662542p4662553.html Sent from the Mono - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Mono-list maillist - [email protected] http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/mono-list
