We've already seen on numerous occasions how it behaves differently on different systems ;) The only really answer to this is rigorous testing. Mozilla's tinderbox system is interesting in this respect -- round the clock, automated compiles and tests on all target platforms, with problems reported direcly to the people who broke the build. We already have a substantial test suite that could be used for this, although it would take some resources. At the moment I think we do pretty well by having so many people developing at such a fast pace on different platforms (of course this may become a problem when core development moves primarily to Linux). Platform diversity is good for all of us :) Dan. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
