It is easier to use the mono-build.sh script.�
This script downloads mono and depencies
(glib2, pkgconfig, etc) for you, builds mono, and
installs it for you.� You can find the
mono-build.sh script at the Mono Downloads page http://www.go-mono.com/download.html There is also directions there detailing
