For your information, I have put in a formal request to the ECMA issue to microsoft and ecma. I have asked about about the usage of the source code examples in the ECMA and the usage of the MSDN version of the spec. ECMA said that they have forwarded my question to thier experts. Microsoft has Anson Horton working on answering the question.
