You'll be able to use VB.NET. Don't use - System.EnterpriseServices (COM-Interoperability) - Microsoft.Win32 (Registry, Windows Events) - [System.Windows.Forms (I guess it will exist, but it will take some time)] - P/invoke (DllImport) into native libs if the lib is not available on Linux if someone knows other things please add.
