I see   Thank you both for your information.   In any case VB.NET does not use native dll's, taking into account that .NET assemblies are not dll's and are compiled the same way as other .NET assemblies (.exe, .dll etc....)   So if I'm now understanding it correctly it comes down to this: in the end I should be able to run any fully managed code on the mono platform aswell, .... cool that rocks :-)     Thnx.     --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
