It seems that the source RPM is using the following commands to build
the package:
./configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=%{_libdir} --enable-threads=pthreads
make LIBS=-ldl
In this case, enable-threads=pthreads looks somewhat suspect. The
maintainer of the RPM (do RPMs have maintainers?) should investigate
this if it's an issue.
