[Mono-list] Mono 0.17

Is there an expected release date for this? Oh and two quick questions about the Mono libraries
-Can I just download a binary distribution of Mono, and replace the SS CLI's libraries with them?
-How would I tell the SS C# compiler to link against them (yes I'm a newbie)
