[Mono-list] Long shot!

Ok I know this is a really long shot question but here goes!   We are about to start work on a very large project. The client-side is GUI based, server side is Web Server based. We want to develop in something that is cross platform between Windoze and XWindows.   C# is the obvious choice but any idea how long until a nice stable CLR is available with the Windows.Forms namespace ? If we're talking years then I'd rather do the client side in C using wxwindows API.   thanks   Craig
