[Mono-list] Legal question

What contingency plan(s) does the Mono project have in place should Microsoft come after it legally? Right now I'm learning Java, but would rather work with C# (and VB.NET later) since I can use Mono. Soooo has anyone thought seriously about what would happen if Microsoft gets a bug up its collective ass and sends its Legal Beagles after you guys?
