Hi Bob,

#2 I have seen the .Net Server in development(http://www12.brinkster.com/brianr/ideas/appserver.aspx). Has there been any discussion about using the Apache Web Server As A model for a .Net Server?
I've been working on the app server you mentioned, it is meant to natively host various kinds of applications such as remoting, web, ftp, etc...all in managed c#.

mod_haydn (for apache) is also being developed. (http://haydn.sourceforge.net/) It currently supports a subset of the Apache 1.3 api.

Covalant supports a commerical version of Apache 2.0 that supports ASP.NET
http://www.covalent.net/products/enterprise_ready/
Here's a pdf that describes it: http://64.84.21.122/docs/Apache2supportsASP.NET.pdf

However, more open source asp.net support for apache is still needed.

Brian
