Harsh 'M-x comment-region', 'M-x uncomment-region' is something that I regularly use while editing testcases that I feed to the mono's vb.net compiler. The file here http://d116.com/hacks/emacs/visual-basic-mode.el does these two things very well.
I am not a elisp hacker. I am still on the lookout for visual-basic-dot-net-mode for emacs ;-) that does better indentation with little more color. Regards, Jambunathan K.
