Well, if to retrieve the source code from SVN and compiling it from there it sounds too complicated you can also download a Mono daily build that has been built after the patch date (at least one day after). You have the daily builds at: http://mono.ximian.com/daily/ They are not intend for this but they can be used if you cannot wait until the next Mono release. Take into account that these are daily builds and not official a release and they have not been passed the same testing procedures.
