I am a new programmer coming from MS .NET Framework and am trying to learn Mono. My biggest problem is that I can't seem to grasp the widgets concept that is being used for winforms basically. I like it in MS because you can declare where you want something, but then that opens up to headaches later. Anyway can someone offer an alternate explanation than monodocs so that i can try to understand this.
