Hi.
Well yeah, you still need to install X11 on mac. It commes with the OSX install dvd or cd, phanter or tiger. its small. It's still needed because as i've heared there're some needed calls to that library, its not 100% quatz based... Winforms still need lot of work on mac... I'm adicted to mac's too, and i was testing, winforms on each releases, but when on windows or linux it works better, and better, on mac every time was the same thing, no big advances... So now im trying to learn Cocoa# what we can do, looks like they've focused on Cocoa# instead of create a cocoa or quartz based driver for winforms... I hope we can develop with winforms some day and be able to run on Mac... Let's wait.... :)

Greetings.

Roberto.

Hi,

tried with 1.1.9 and it doesn't work either... it says it can't find /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.dylib

where can I find that??

thanks

If you're trying to run winforms on mac native, with the last version of mono, you cant, you will be not able to run any winform due to that the drawing lib is not included, and also cocoa is not included, due to a desition of the maintainer.. you can contact the maintainer kangoro on the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list. The same thing happens to me, and i've asked, then he told us that hapenned, and apologises for that... So anyway, you'll need 1.1.9 if you want that working. Or download and compile from svn...

Grettings..

Roberto.

I'm no mac expert, but I believe you need to use macpack to create/run the
application.

Cheers,
 Peter

Hi all,

Well, I'm new to winforms and MacOS, so I don't know how to handle the
following problem: I made a small application on Linux and then tried to
run
it on MacOS (it works on Linux). Well, I get the following error
(mono-1.1.10).

Well, maybe I don't have something correctly installed on MacOS...

mac:~/develop/graph pablo$ mono GraphAnalysis.exe
