You seem to be using Gtk on your app, but then you try and use the SendKeys method from WinForms. These are two completely separate and unrelated gui toolkits. Invoking methods from one toolkit for controls on another toolkit will, if you're lucky, accomplish nothing, and if you're not, result in a nice *boom*, along with a pretty display of fireworks.
