Hi, About this, are you aware that the guys of the Media Portal project are implementing some (most) of the WPF classes? They base it on directX (and is GPL I'm afraid) but may be a starting point. There is not much information about it, but here are some links:

I don't think we've decided if we will be doing WPF. Whereas winforms has a large installed base that we want to help move to linux, WPF does not seem to have gathered much developer support.
