I have managed to build a modified version of Mono that loads the X11 driver
on Windows. But when trying to run a simple Windows Forms application it
hangs. As far as I can see it hangs in XInitThreads. That's probabaly where
the SEH problem comes into play.

Can you please briefly comment on what might be required to get it working?
I'm not too familiar with SEH (I have started reading Matt Pietrek's "A
Crash Course on the Depths of Win32 Structured Exception Handling" and some
other sources about SEH, gcc and Cygwin) Is a complete rebuild of a patched
Cygwin environment required? Or might wrapping Cygwin's cygX11-6.dll do the
trick?

Thank you, Dirk
