They have funding. They have corporate governance (CxO, board etc)
They are setting infrastructure up (I saw a github push from a team
member with an OSS port of a credit card processing library, for
example) .

They have staff (most of the old ones). From what I've seen on
twitter, they have a LOT of .NET for iPhone (not Android yet) working
to a point where they are debating if they should do a beta now, or
wait a bit longer. eg:

@toshok: debugging an llvm device build of tweetstation from
monodevelop.  when are we shipping again?

and

@migueldeicaza: @fastchicken The debate is "How complete does this
have to be, before we give it to users".  Will we get bad reviews if
we release previews?

Personally, I say NOW. But I'm biased.
