They have funding. They have corporate governance (CxO, board etc) They are setting infrastructure up (I saw a github push from a team member with an OSS port of a credit card processing library, for example) . They have staff (most of the old ones). From what I've seen on twitter, they have a LOT of .NET for iPhone (not Android yet) working to a point where they are debating if they should do a beta now, or wait a bit longer. eg: @toshok: debugging an llvm device build of tweetstation from monodevelop. when are we shipping again? and @migueldeicaza: @fastchicken The debate is "How complete does this have to be, before we give it to users". Will we get bad reviews if we release previews? Personally, I say NOW. But I'm biased. -- Nic Wise t. +44 7788 592 806 | @fastchicken | http://www.linkedin.com/in/nicwise b. http://www.fastchicken.co.nz/ | http://www.flickr.com/photos/nicwise mobileAgent (for FreeAgent): get your accounts in your pocket. http://goo.gl/IuBU Trip Wallet: Keep track of your budget on the go: http://goo.gl/ePhKa London Bike App: Find the nearest Boris Bike, and get riding! http://goo.gl/Icp2 _______________________________________________ Monodroid mailing list [email protected] UNSUBSCRIBE INFORMATION: http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monodroid
