Alternatively, you could stuff it in the Application object:
[Application]
public class MyApp : Android.App.Application {
public MyApp(IntPtr handle)
: base (handle)
{
}
public BaseData Data {get; set;}
}
Then within your Activity:
((MyApp) this.ApplicationContext).Data = value;
