Hi Eric, >From the information above, it looks like you downloaded an old GitHub version from mono/monodroid-samples. This was moved a month or two ago over to xamarin so the download now is xamarin/monodroid-samples. It might be worth re-downloading the samples from here: https://github.com/xamarin/monodroid-samples (which will contain fixes/updates for the samples etc) and see if you can get them to run.
