It's normal for debug packages that use the shared runtime.
It won't happen to packages released into App Stores because release packages have the copy of Mono they are written for embedded into the apk.

I'm pretty new to Mono, but I've been writing little apps for myself to learn, and putting them on my Kindle and phone and such. Today I installed the 4.2.1 update, and when I ran one of my apps with Visual Studio, pushing it to my Kindle, my Kindle updated it's version of Mono to 4.2.1. Now none of the apps I wrote with the last version of Mono work anymore. They just crash out. Everything from simple 'Hello World' to the latest ones. Is this normal? If I eventually write an app and put it on the Kindle store, or wherever, is it going to break every time there's an update? -- View this message in context: http://mono-for-android.1047100.n5.nabble.com/4-2-1-Issue-tp5709531.html Sent from the Mono for Android mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Monodroid mailing list [email protected] UNSUBSCRIBE INFORMATION: http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/monodroid
