I have a similar problem. I'm using VS 2010 and an Acer A501 tablet. I would have to be very lucky to have a debug session last more than 5 minutes. The only way I can get the debugger to see the device again is to pull the USB cable and re-plug it back in again. As for breakpoints I find it almost impossibe to break in threads and routines inside member classes of a parent class; always tries to break in the outer classes constructor.
