Thanks Matt.  I should have opened it in notepad and seen it.  I copied values 
into the .sln and that fixed it. Wally

This has got to do with the solution version number. See the first two lines of 
the sln file.

MonoDevelop, MD seems to start, but then control passes over to Vs2012 and it

BTW, I am currently running in the alpha channel, and will be switching back to 
the stable channel for some work.
