I am using MonoDevelop for Android and the MapsAndLocationDemo.
Here is my code:
public void AddTextToMap ()
{
var mapTextView = new TextView (contextOverlay){Text =
overlayDetailsForThisOverlay.stringName};
var layoutParams = new MapView.LayoutParams (100, 50,
overlayDetailsForThisOverlay.overlayGeoPoint,
MapView.LayoutParams.BottomCenter);
mapViewForThisOverlay.AddView (mapTextView, layoutParams);
}
This code draws some text at a Marker position. However, this text is draw
overtop of the actual icon marker.
Can I please have some help to draw this text below the marker. Can I offset
the layout to be a little lower, or use a layoutparameter that actually
places the text just below the marker?
