Throw: XTerm*charClass: 45:48 into whatever X resources file you prefer and the former will select the same as the latter. ("Modern" Linux distributions are starting to throw a huge laundry list of characters into this group by default, including slash, which annoys me. Undoing this behavior is the only reason I'm aware of this resource.)
