It's how attr's are represented. I had deliberately omitted mentioning the 'minor' detail that manifests are actually *stored* as parts of rosters, but I had to go and use the word "stored" there rather than "represented". So, having foolishly misrepresented rosters, I'm sure njs or someone else will correct me if I don't clarify this first. -- Dan.
