That revision does not compile on Windows (msys) due to the
nonexistance of unsetenv. I've commited a child revision of the above
with the fix for unsetenv for windows plucked from nvm.ssh-agent.
e90ed0de50469bb85c1b15d9bd80e61cbb8fee68 compiles on WIndows but the
following tests fail:
235 merge_into_workspace FAIL (line 76)
236 merge_into_workspace_attr_corpse FAIL (line 45)
237 merge_into_workspace_files_added FAIL (line 46)
I'm retesting on OS X and Linux.
