What is Monotree?

Monotree is a viewer for the distributed version control system monotone.
As a viewer it loads and reads monotone's database to create reports. As
it is a Windows application with a graphical user interface it can help to
understand monotone's data easier and more quickly.
Monotree is not a graphical user interface for monotone. It doesn't even
use monotone but loads monotone's database directly. It's possible to load
a database created by monotone without having monotone installed at all.
What's new?
===========
* A more powerful layout engine called Glee from Microsoft Research for
nicer reports and with a zoom function
* Compressing databases by dropping tables not required by Monotree (only
if desired; not automatically! :)
What are the most important features?
=====================================
* Loads monotone's database and creates reports without requiring monotone
to be installed
* Creates easy to undestand reports about who worked when on what
* Supports scrolling and zooming reports
* Saves reports as PNG graphics
* Compresses databases if desired to make files smaller and faster to
distribute
